چکیده

Abstract Graphene has shown considerable potential for sensing magnetic fields based on the Hall Effect, due to its high carrier mobility, low sheet density, and low-temperature dependence. However, cost of graphene in comparison conventional materials meant that uptake electronic manufacturing been slow. To lower technological barriers bring more widespread adoption sensors, we are using a one-step laser scribing process does not rely multiple steps, toxic chemicals, subsequent treatments. Laser-scribed sensors offer linear response with normalized sensitivity ~1.12 V/AT. They also exhibit constant noise voltage floor ~ 50 nV/ $$\sqrt {{\mathrm{Hz}}}$$ Hz bias current 100 µA at room temperature, which is comparable state-of-the-art low-noise sensors. The combine bendability, come robustness operating temperatures up 400 °C. enable device ideas various areas, instance, soft robotics. As an example, combined laser-scribed sensor deformable elastomer flexible magnet realize low-cost, compliant, customizable tactile

Laser-scribed graphene presents an opportunity to print a new generation of disposable electrochemical sensors.

Graphene application within electrochemical sensing has been widely reported, but mainly as a composite, which adds summative effects to an underlying electrode. In this work we report the use of laser-scribed graphene as a distinct electrode patterned on a non-conducting flexible substrate. The laser-scribed graphene electrode compared favourably to established carbon macroelectrodes when eval...

Fractal dendrite-based electrically conductive composites for laser-scribed flexible circuits

Fractal metallic dendrites have been drawing more attentions recently, yet they have rarely been explored in electronic printing or packaging applications because of the great challenges in large-scale synthesis and limited understanding in such applications. Here we demonstrate a controllable synthesis of fractal Ag micro-dendrites at the hundred-gram scale. When used as the fillers for isotro...

Textile Pressure Sensor Made of Flexible Plastic Optical Fibers

In this paper we report the successful development of pressure sensitive textile prototypes based on flexible optical fibers technology. Our approach is based on thermoplastic silicone fibers, which can be integrated into woven textiles. As soon as pressure at a certain area of the textile is applied to these fibers they change their cross section reversibly, due to their elastomeric character,...
